Automatic - Automaton music video and concert visuals

Co-directed with Yana Pan , we where tasked to work within the conceptual boundaries of their record, specifically the figure of the automaton, and post human dystopia, as well as the bands dedication to environmental causes was a key in selecting materials that would reflect that.
Yana designed the original Automaton and I made it figurable by using paper to hand make the puppet as well as the environment and filmed it in stop-motion.
The alternate version made for live performance is made up of looping sequences that can replay during the duration of their live sets.
